I was in a store today (a liquidator type store) and they had an entire aisle filled with expired food. Some of the food was only slightly expired (a few months past the sell by date) but most was dated 07. :( They had a sign talking about how the food is still good after the sell by date, but like I said, lots of the stuff was dated 07. They had salsa con queso that expired in August 07. ;_;

Google says itapos;s not illegal to sell food that has expired. Do you think it should be? Or do you think there should be a limit on how far past the sell by date an item can be in a store?

I just thought it was pretty gross. They had expired cereal and chocolate too.
